| Features easy and flexible to use | | |
 |  |  | The orgchart software org.manager offers a lot of features, which make the program a flexible instrument to handle your data.
Below the most important are introduced:

 |  |  | Data from different systems (e.g. HR and Finance) can be combined into one transparent org chart.
|
| | | Afterwards rules can be applied to colour certain departments or positions. This allows visual management, using the well known organisational structure as the basic medium. Especially managers and executives will have a huge advantage from this easy to read information transport.

 |  |  | As an alternative to the usually used organigram (structure of organizational units) a position chart can easily be displayed.
|
| | | This chart displays information about the position and about the person(s) on this position. For example, there is the possibility to display employee pictures in the position chart. As in the organizational chart, the number of layers can be changed. Using the interactive handling, the user can easily browse through the whole position chart of the complete company.

 |  |  | Besides the display of hierarchic relationships org.manager is able to visualize so called Dotted Line Relationships as well.

| | | Dotted Line Relationships can be displayed between organizational units, positions and employees and can be individually configured. As well the type as the direction of the relationship is made clear. The user finally has the possibility to assign a caption to every single type of relationship.

 |  |  | org.manager allows to use a number of different search criteria.

| | | The user can search by department/section, by staff member, or by any other item of data (telephone number, room number, etc.). Search results are then displayed in a list of hits. Selection of an entry causes the corresponding department/section and/or the name of the person concerned to be displayed in a field located within the overall company structure.

 |  |  | The versatile print features of org.manager have been incorporated as a result of feedback from clients.

| | | Besides the pure organigram print it is also possible to print out an employee list or to use the folder print option, which enables the user to print out the complete organizational structure of a company side by side. A wide range of layout settings (e.g. user-defined header and footer, free logo positioning etc.) allows to individually configure the printout to match every organizational needs.

 |  |  | org.manager offers three different Export functionalities.

| | | Using the export to clipboard, the organigram can be inserted in other software (e.g. MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
The image export allows you to save the currently displayed organigram to an image file such as Windows bitmap (*.bmp).
Additionally, there is the MS Visio export, which exports the organigram to MS Visio XP where it can be used for further processing (the entire structure is transferred to MS Visio XP as individual objects in this case).

 |  |  | Among the creation of organigrams and position charts, org.manager also provides the possibility of generating links to other applications like MS Outlook or MS Word automatically.

| | | That is a useful way to call up extended position descriptions directly from the organigram. Another field of application is to link objects inside organigrams with their specific intranet pages. Additionally e-mails can be sent directly from the employee list. Thereby, the integration into existing content management systems will become a child's play. There will be no need of additional insertions into the data sources or HTML pages. The creation of all links runs automated.
