Ingentis org.manager can be launched directly from SAP® HCM (Managers Desktop or PPOME). Certainly SAP data can be processed automatically and the organizational charts can be created without any user intervention.

Ingentis org.manager comes along with a very sophisticated SAP Function Module. The Function Module reads, taking into account the SAP HCM rights concept, personnel data from SAP HCM PA and organizational structures from SAP HCM OM. This flexible interface is also able to read and process individual info types and fields. With an own IMG the Function Module is completely customizeable and can be adapted to individual demands. There's no easier way to get your org charts directly from SAP.

Every database (e.g. Oracle®, Microsoft SQL Server® oder IBM DB/2®) supporting ODBC can be used as a data provider for the org chart software. Thereby data from individual personnel management systems can be accessed very easily. Besides some mandatory fields many additional fields can be selected and displayed in the organizational charts.

 

The CSV interface offers identical possibilities as the ODBC interface described above.
Simple text files in CSV format (single datasets, fields devided by semicolons) are used as data basis.

The LDAP import requires a directory service server, which supports the LDAP protocol, such as Microsoft Active Directory or OpenLDAP. The organizational data in the LDAP directory must be structured hierarchically according to the organizational structure to allow the software to automatically create the organization chart.
