Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer becomes founding member of Ingentis advisory board

May 17 2022 | Press releases

New perspectives and ideas thanks to an outside view: Ingentis Softwareentwicklung GmbH is founding an advisory board to position the company for a bright future. Actively involved in the foundation was its first member: Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer, university lecturer from Pforzheim with extensive know-how due to his scientific practice and many years of experience in the HR sector.
Ingentis’ management expects innovative impulses for strategy development and future direction from the external expertise and exchange. “As a leading provider of HR tech and HR analytics software, it is our responsibility to always be ahead of the curve and have a sense for the industry trends of tomorrow,” emphasizes Joachim Rotzinger, Managing Director for Strategy at Ingentis since March 2022. “We already combine a wide range of competencies in our company trough highly trained and experienced experts. With the new advisory board, we will expand these even further.” The goal is to work together both on innovative solutions and the market position of Ingentis in Germany and internationally.

Profitably linking theory and practice
Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer is excited about the new task: “For more than 30 years, I have been working on issues resulting from the connection between HR and organization in the context of digitalization. Being able to link these approaches with practice at Ingentis will be interesting and surely a profitable challenge for everyone involved.”
Fischer completed his PhD in the area of HR at the University of Trier after having studied sociology, politics and law in Heidelberg . Since 2009 he has held the position as Professor of Human Resources Management and Organizational Consulting at Pforzheim University. In 2012, he became head of the practice-oriented Institute for Human Resources Research and member of the university’s Human Resources Competence Center.
In the sector, Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer is primarily known in the context of the buzzwords agility, ambidexterity, and sustainability in HR management. With Ingentis, he intends to particularly work on the visualization of data and its strategic analysis. According to the 55-year-old, “Ingentis offers very good products when it comes to the data-based display of organizations. There is huge potential in the expansion of the variability of visualizations of traditional and agile organizations and the addition of expert input. Features such as KPI cockpits, HR analytics or simulations are to provide a significant added value to companies – in the context of HR, for executives, but especially in terms of overall company development.”

Foundation of the advisory board as the next logical step
After the expansion of the management circle in March, with Joachim Rotzinger being named Managing Director Strategy at Ingentis Holding and Tobias Weiß joining the management team at Ingentis Softwareentwicklung GmbH, the establishment of the advisory board is now the next logical step. Michal Grimm, one of Ingentis’ founders, explains, “Through the advisory board, we benefit from additional perspectives that will without a doubt advance us as a company.” In the future, the Ingentis advisory board will grow to include new members: “In addition to Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer, we would soon like to bring other experts to the table,” Michael Grimm looks ahead.
