Automated Maintenance of HR Master Data
Changes or additions to HR master data in SAP SuccessFactors can lead to a lengthy process if updates have to be made manually throughout the entire structure. Fortunately, there’s Ingentis business rule trigger!
The software enables the inheritance of modified information along the structures in SAP SuccessFactors – just as it is possible in SAP HCM.
Business rules in SAP SuccessFactors are always executed only for the affected object. As a result, new information cannot be transferred to other objects within the structure. This is where the Ingentis Business Rule Trigger comes into play. It prompts objects to retrieve updated information from higher levels and, if applicable, to adopt it.
The software detects newly created or modified objects and performs the “Edit and Save” function for all objects within a freely configurable evaluation path. This triggers the SAP SuccessFactors business rules. The process can be initiated manually or run automatically at regular intervals.
