Before Ingentis, Apex Tool Group built and maintained its organizational charts manually in Visio. When HR business partners needed to work through reorganizations or update visual org charts, the process took a lot of manual effort, and the underlying data was not automatically synced with Apex’s system of record, SAP SuccessFactors.
Apex wanted organizational charts that reflected the latest job information for every employee, along with the ability to present reorganization simulations and org charts in a more professional way.
Ingentis’ org.manager gave Apex’s HR team a way to build simulations and present organizational information to leadership with confidence that the data was current, drawing directly from SAP SuccessFactors as the system of record. The team also gained access to the Impact Details Dashboard for deeper insight into reorganizations.
The implementation went very smoothly. Cody, the consultant, laid out all the steps for the project, and an initial questionnaire helped Apex’s team understand what to expect from the new tool. Once testing began, Apex and Cody went back and forth on requested changes, with quick responses throughout. The implementation took less time than Apex expected, lasting only 10 weeks.
