Ingentis Corporate Volunteering

Engagement with Heart and Responsibility

We bring our sustainability strategy (more on this in our current sustainability report for 2023) to life through a wide range of measures! To fulfill our social responsibility, we recently launched a corporate volunteering program for the first time. Such a campaign enables employees to get involved in charitable projects by taking time off work. In this way, we want to make a positive contribution to our society and at the same time support our team in getting actively involved through personal commitment.

Collaboration with the bbs Nuremberg

After thorough research, we chose to collaborate with the Bildungszentrum für Blinde und Sehbehinderte Nürnberg, a social institution dedicated to supporting blind and visually impaired children, teenagers, and young adults. A key factor in selecting an organization to support is always the direct connection to our employees: the Educational Center provides valuable assistance to family members of Ingentis employees. For this reason, it is close to our hearts to give back through this project and to support the vital work of the organization.

Our First Corporate Volunteering Project

Our very first corporate volunteering project reached new heights in July 2024! Four volunteers from the Ingentis team accompanied nine visually impaired 8th-grade students to the Straßmühle Climbing Forest in Pyrbaum. Thanks to the dedication of our helpers, the class was split into small groups, enabling each child to tackle the climbing course at their own pace. Despite their visual impairments, the children showed incredible courage and mastered all challenges with flying colors. Our colleagues also had a fantastic time, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to actively support the children in their climbing adventure.

A Complete Success with Plans for Future Activities

Our first corporate volunteering event was a resounding success. Under perfect weather conditions, we spent a wonderful day at the climbing forest—an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. The bbs expressed deep gratitude for our support, and we are already looking forward to organizing similar activities and projects in the future. Together, we can make a significant impact—not only for the community but also for fostering our team spirit. We sincerely thank all participants for their dedication and hope that future events will receive just as much enthusiasm!
