Ingentis Corporate Volunteering

On June 30, Ingentis took part in IN AKTION for the first time, a joint project day organized by the City of Nuremberg and the TÜREN ÖFFNEN project run by the Institute for Social and Cultural Work (ISKA). Twelve colleagues spent the day at the SIGENA Nachbarschaftstreff Sündersbühl, a community center that fosters connection, exchange, and support for senior citizens in the neighborhood.

That was the theme of the shared day with the seniors from the SIGENA Nachbarschaftstreff. After a first round of introductions and a lighthearted celebrity quiz, the group headed to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum. There, following a shared lunch, the visit to the special exhibition “Genie. Idol. Star. Verehrung im 19. Jahrhundert.” was on the agenda.

The exchange between generations proved especially rewarding: together, participants talked about idols past and present, shared memories, and swapped perspectives. The exhibition offered fascinating insights into the evolution of star and genius worship, showing just how much these themes continue to shape our society today.
